• Cool the burn down with running tap water for 20-25 min till pain subsides.
• DO NOT USE ICE OR ICE COLD WATER- You might increase damage to the area if it is used.

• Cover with a dry, nonstick, sterile bandage.

• Deep Burns(2nd /3rd /4th degree) may take 2-6 weeks to heal-may need surgical intervention
